As a Graphic Design Intern / Trainee, you will support the Marketing & Communications team in creating visual content across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for someone passionate about design and eager to develop their skills in a professional hospitality environment. You will gain hands-on experience working on real projects while learning about branding, content creation, and visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design Support
- Assist in creating visual materials such as social media content, promotional assets, brochures, and website graphics.
- Support the team in adapting designs across different formats and platforms.
2. Brand Application
- Follow brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all design outputs for both corporate and property-level branding.
- Assist in maintaining visual identity across multiple brands within the group.
3. Photography & Editing
- Support basic photography and videography tasks when needed.
- Assist in photo editing, resizing, and layout adjustments.
4. Learning & Development
- Stay updated with design trends and tools.
- Take initiative to learn and improve creative and technical skills through feedback and hands-on experience.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, or Canva.
- A strong interest in design, branding, photography editing, and visual storytelling.
- Good communication skills in English (basic working proficiency is sufficient).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn.
- A portfolio (academic or personal projects accepted).
- Must have access to a personal laptop and relevant design software to support day-to-day tasks.
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of video editing or motion graphics.
- Interest in photography or content creation.
