What You’ll Do
* Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using Go and frameworks such as Gin.
* Develop and optimize data access layers using GORM / SQL.
* Design database schemas, migrations, and queries using PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
* Develop long-running business processes using Temporal workflows.
* Build asynchronous and event-driven services using RabbitMQ, Kafka, NATS, or Redis Streams.
* Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
* Implement logging, metrics, and tracing to support production monitoring and troubleshooting.
* Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and DevOps teams on API contracts and deployment.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
* 1–3 years of professional experience in Go development. Internships or substantial side projects may be considered for junior candidates.
* Strong understanding of Go fundamentals, including goroutines, channels, concurrency, and error handling.
* Experience building REST APIs using Gin, Echo, Fiber, or Chi.
* Familiar with GORM / ORM and able to write raw SQL when required.
* Good understanding of PostgreSQL, including joins, transactions, indexes, and query optimization.
* Familiar with Git and Docker.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Able to communicate technical concepts clearly and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn new technologies, including AI-related technologies.
