PT HONGLU BAJA INDONESIA (located in Cikarang Barat, West Java), as we are looking for a dynamic, results-driven General Manager Operations to join our growing team and take ownership of our strategy, execution, and performance. To lead and manage all aspects of garment manufacturing operations, ensuring achievement of sales target, setting up marketing strategy, productivity, quality, cost-efficiency, budget set-up and compliance with applicable standards and laws and company budget.
Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
Manage HR & GA, Procurement, and Finance & Accouting Division
Customer Relationship
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients (e.g. apparel brands, retail partners, distributors), ensuring high customer satisfaction and loyalty (repeat business)
Team Leadership
Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team, including recruiting, training, and evaluating sales staff, to ensure a high-performing team that achieves its targets
Lead production teams and promote performance culture.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Implement quality standards and ensure compliance with safety and factory certifications.
Cost Management
Monitor budgets, analyze costs, and optimize resource usage.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work with planning, procurement, and maintenance teams.
Reporting to Directors
Present performance reports and recommendations
Qualifications
Bachelor's/Master's degree
MBA or postgraduate qualification is a plus
Min. 10 years in Contruction or steel fabrication; 10+ years in leadership role
Willing to be located in Cikarang Barat, WestJava
Technical Skills & Competencies:
1. Fabrication processes (Baja Construction & Structure)
2. ERP systems and production planning
3. Strong leadership & communication
4. Fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, written and verbal, including preparing management reports and presentations to the Board
5. Lean manufacturing
6. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills for dealing with clients and closing deals.
7. In-depth understanding of garment products, pricing, and basic supply chain concepts to ensure realistic commitments to clients and Suplier
8.Problem-solving mindset with a customer-oriented approach to handle inquiries or issues effectively.
