We're Hiring: General Manager — Casa de Vie Group (Malang)
We are seeking a high-energy, commercially-minded General Manager to lead our growing portfolio of boutique properties (Homestay, Hostel, and Coliving). You will be the "CEO of the Ground" — responsible for the guest experience, team discipline, and most importantly, maximizing the profit of our 3+ locations in Malang.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Operations & Quality Control
Directly oversee daily operations across Casa de Vie Homestay, Hostel, and Decasa House.
Enforce "World Class" cleanliness and maintenance standards (The CDV Bible).
Conduct daily site inspections to ensure the "Vibe" is consistent (sparkling clean, good energy, happy social environment).
Handle emergency guest issues and maintenance escalations.
B. Revenue & Commercial Growth
Manage OTA platforms (Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.) with a focus on high-yield pricing.
Direct Booking Focus: implement strategies to drive direct bookings via WhatsApp and Website to save on commission fees.
B2B Partnerships: actively manage and expand vendor relationships to increase ancillary revenue.
Execute local marketing campaigns targeting university students and digital nomads.
C. Team Leadership & Discipline
Manage, schedule, and train the Housekeeping and Front Office teams (8+ staff).
Be the bridge between Ownership and Staff — you are the face of Management.
Ensure team grooming, punctuality, and high service standards are met at all times.
Recruit and onboard new team members as we scale.
D. Finance & Reporting
Prepare weekly and monthly P&L reports (Income vs. Expense).
Manage the operational budget and petty cash with 100% transparency and honesty.
Track occupancy rates and guest satisfaction scores.
Requirements (The "Winner" Profile):
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in Hospitality Management (Hotel, Hostel, or Serviced Apartments).
Communication: Excellent English (written and verbal) is mandatory to handle our international guests.
Mindset: Managerial mindset — you side with the brand and business goals, not staff gossip.
Location: Based in Malang/Banyuwangi. Domicile in Malang/Banyuwangi.
Skills: Proficiency in Channel Managers (OTA), Social Media (Instagram/TikTok), and basic Excel for reporting.
Personality: Proactive, "can-do" attitude, mature, honest and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Own vehicle and valid driver's license (for mobility between locations).
Comfortable working with targets and KPIs
