ICANDO is seeking a full-time Game Designer to add to our in-house development team!

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
• Drive the game design through all production phases-from concept to implementation, and finally to release
• Design, define and maintain all game mechanics, character use, storylines, assets lists, AI behaviors, text and dialogue with comprehensive documentation
• Assist in the overall design of UI screens, supporting screens and game levels
• Design curricular elements of the gameplay experience with support and input from Curriculum team
• Review game deliverables thoroughly in daily basis

Experience:
• A passion for creating high-quality, games that educate and entertain children
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills with the ability to work independently
• Detail oriented and self motivated
• Strong creative and editorial skills with deep understanding of current trends and use in all areas of gaming especially Games for Learning and Mobile Games
• Ability to understand technical parameters as they apply to design implementations
• Work well within cross-functional teams, educational, marketing, etc.

Pluses:
• A passion for technology and game development, with a dedication to and desire of perfection
• Ability to speak comfortably and professionally with technical and non-technical team members

At present, education in Indonesia still has several problems related to quality and access as well as the even distribution of well-trained teachers. In addition, with the rapid development of technology, Indonesian children do not have the suitable platform that acts as a learning media that teaches them about character, manner, and cognitive learning. 
ICANDO is here to be a solution for the community especially parents who want to provide education that is more effective, efficient, and flexible, as well as fun for children.  
Our product provides an interactive way of learning in which children have full access to their learning process. By presenting challenges through games, it encourages them to be independent learners with 21st century competencies: Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Communication, and Collaboration, which will provide them skills to face the future.
