Job Description – Gallery Operations & Management Executive
If you are organised, people-centric and have strong project and spaces management skills, gallery operations and management could be the career for you.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Ensure smooth operational & management processes.
2. Manage events, logistics, workshops and activities within the organisation.
3. Onsite management of daily operations.
4. Supervise contractors, inspect all maintenance works and carryout troubleshooting.
5. Collate and submit operational reports.
6. Prepare and set-up logistics required for programmes, events and activities.
7. Manage inventory items and collate reports such as visitors and marketing outreach, programme participation and feedback, etc.
8. Ensure functionality & operation ability of organisation spaces.
9. Conduct programmes & manage visitors.
10. Assist Programme Director/Manager to facilitate programmes and manage operations.
Skills
You will need to have:
1. To have minimum diploma qualification and possess command of English in both spoken and written.
2. Written and verbal communication skills
3. To have a good systemic approach in handling matters and can manage tasks independently.
4. Enjoys communicating with others.
5. Possess team work skills for liaising with artists, curators, external contractors and conservators
6. To have command of using basic technology for work productivity & efficiency.
7. self-motivation and the ability to act on your own initiative
8. a customer-focused approach to work, always considering the needs of others
