FULL STACK ENGINEER
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong experience in EDC (Electronic Data Capture) application development, capable of building, integrating, and maintaining end-to-end systems—from device-level APKs to backend services and modern web frontends.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain EDC Android APK applications for payment and transaction processing.
* Design, build, and optimize backend services using Java.
* Develop responsive and high-performance frontend applications using JavaScript (Next.js).
* Integrate EDC applications with backend APIs, databases, and third-party services.
* Ensure application security, performance, and reliability across all layers.
* Collaborate with product, QA, and infrastructure teams throughout the development lifecycle.
* Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems in production.
* Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
Technical Requirements
EDC / Mobile
* Experience developing EDC applications (APK).
* Strong understanding of Android SDK and device-level integrations.
* Familiar with payment flows, device communication, and hardware interaction (a plus).
Backend
* Strong proficiency in Java.
* Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services.
* Understanding of database design (SQL/NoSQL).
* Experience with authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
* Familiarity with performance optimization and scalability.
Frontend
* Strong knowledge of JavaScript.
* Hands-on experience with Next.js (React-based framework).
* Understanding of modern frontend concepts (SSR, CSR, API integration).
* Experience building clean, reusable UI components.
Additional Qualifications
* Experience with version control systems (Git).
* Understanding of CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
* Experience working in agile/scrum environments.
* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Nice to Have
* Experience in fintech / payment systems (especially ISO 8583).
* Knowledge of cloud platforms and deployment.
* Experience handling high-volume transaction systems.
* Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
