Sampingan provides on-demand workforce for other companies to scale at lightning speed at a fraction of the cost. In our mission, we have garnered over 300.000 agent-partners across 48 cities in Indonesia, helping over more than 100 clients ranging from FMCG to tech giants in achieving their goals.
We are constantly hacking ways to grow and ultimately provide equal access to jobs and opportunities for everyone. To achieve this, we are looking for a Senior Web Front-End engineer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming.
Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
What you will do:
Providing technical leadership in a fast-moving environment
Deeply engaged in the full development lifecycle
Writing well-formatted code and libraries
Writing release and development documentation
Conducting performance benchmarking and monitoring
Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Assuring that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
Maintaining existing codebase
Optimizing application for maximum speed and scalability
Ensuring maintainability of core application assets and artifacts
Helping define coding standards and development processes
Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders while grow continuously with us
What you need to have:
BS degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
4+ years active software development
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with a strong commitment to learning
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
Proficiency in of ReactJS (at least 3 years)
Good understanding of software engineering concepts, algorithms, and design patterns
Well versed with version control
