The Opportunity
We're looking for a Frontend Developer to help build and scale the products that power Voca's growing commerce ecosystem. In this role, you'll work alongside Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to create engaging, high-performance web applications that serve millions of users across the region. You'll have the opportunity to work on real-world engineering challenges, contribute to meaningful projects, and grow your technical skills while helping shape products used every day by gamers and digital consumers.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React.js and TypeScript.
- Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver new features.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production applications.
- Contribute to frontend standards, design systems, and development best practices.
- Continuously improve your technical knowledge and contribute to team success..
What You'll Bring
- 2+ years of professional frontend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in React.js and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience building responsive and mobile-friendly web applications.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with backend services.
- Familiarity with modern frontend development tools and workflows.
- Experience using Git and collaborative development practices.
- Understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and component-based development.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and continuously improve.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Next.js.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Ant Design, or similar UI frameworks.
- Experience with React Query, Zustand, Redux, or other state management solutions.
- Experience with frontend testing tools such as Jest, Vitest, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Understanding of web performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.
- Experience with AWS or cloud-native applications.
- Experience building gaming, e-commerce, fintech, or digital commerce products.
