Position: Freight Cost Verification
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Freight Cost Verification Specialist to support the verification and validation of international freight costs for our Germany-based operations. This role focuses on reviewing transportation invoices, ensuring billing accuracy, analyzing freight cost discrepancies, and maintaining clear communication with internal teams in a structured logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify freight costs for all modes of international transportation worldwide.
- Ensure freight invoices and transportation costs are accurate and comply with company standards.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve freight cost discrepancies.
- Support freight cost auditing and controlling activities.
Technical Responsibilities
- Perform freight cost verification using Transport Management Systems (TMS) and other IT applications.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications for data analysis, reporting, and documentation.
- Execute basic SQL queries to retrieve, validate, and analyze freight and transportation data.
- Maintain accurate records of freight cost verification and related documentation.
- Report application issues and collaborate with the Germany-based development team to verify fixes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in International Freight Forwarding, Business Administration, Management Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Familiar with Transport Management Systems (TMS) or similar logistics applications.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data retrieval and analysis is required.
- Candidates with an International Freight Forwarding background are highly preferred.
- Available for immediate employment (Applications from fresh graduates will not be considered)
- Willing and able to relocate to the company office, if required.
