Freelance Shopify Developer (Website Maintenance & Optimization)

Responsibilities:

1) Keeping the store healthy

• Diagnose and fix bugs on every aspects of the website

• Review installed apps and scripts, and remove what slows the site down or causes conflicts

• Check site speed regularly and act on what the reports show

• Keep our analytics and ad tracking

2) Building and improving

• Adjust theme and build new sections or pages to support what the team needs

• Connect Shopify with other 3rd parties as needed

• Oganize theme and making sure the user experience is smooth from end to end.

3) Supporting campaigns

• Get the website technically ready before a launch or sale

• Stay reachable while the campaign runs

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Shopify Developer / Specialist / Technical role (portfolio required)

• Strong knowledge of Shopify Admin, Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Understanding of the Shopify API, webhooks, and third-party integrations

• Practical experience improving website speed and Core Web Vitals

• Experience with responsive, mobile-first development

• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

• Clear and responsive communication, especially for urgent issues
