Job Description
- Manage the pyrolysis process, which converts biomass waste into biochar, bio-oil, and syngas
- Ensure the quality and quantity of biochar produced and monitor its environmental and economic impacts.
- Conduct field visits and assessments to verify the suitability of biochar for different soil types and crops.
- Analyze the carbon credit potential of biochar and develop methodologies that comply with certification standards2
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, such as project design documents, verification reports, monitoring plans, and carbon credit reports.
- Communicate and collaborate with external stakeholders, such as project partners, government agencies, and auditors. Ensure project compliance and alignment with relevant policies and regulations.
- Represent Nol Karbon in various forums, conferences, and events. Showcase your expertise and establish strategic partnerships in the biochar sector.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, agriculture, energy, or other relevant majors
- Minimum 1 years of relevant work experience, preferably in biochar project
- Problem solver with strong cognitive abilities
- Strong communication & interpersonal skill to work in a team
- Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- High sense of ownership and intrinsic motivation
- Willing to work from office (when needed) in Jakarta area
