Freelance Back-end Developer

Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain the hotel’s backend system.
2. Create and develop REST APIs and API integrations.
3. Manage and optimize the database to ensure the system runs effectively and reliably.
4. Integrate the system with third-party systems.
5. Develop features to support the operational needs of various hotel departments.
6. Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance.
7. Ensure the security, reliability, scalability, and availability of the backend system.
8. Conduct testing and ensure features function according to requirements.
9. Create API, database, and technical documentation.
10. Monitor and maintain the live system.

Requirements

1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proficient in Go (Golang) for backend service development.
3. Understand the concepts of REST APIs, authentication, authorization, and API security.
4. Possess strong analytical thinking and system design skills.
5. Able to perform debugging and troubleshooting.
6. Understand database concepts and be able to write optimized queries.
7. Understanding of backend architecture and security is a plus.
8. Able to work well with others and communicate effectively.
