Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the hotel’s backend system.
- Create and develop REST APIs and API integrations.
- Manage and optimize the database to ensure the system runs effectively and reliably.
- Integrate the system with third-party systems.
- Develop features to support the operational needs of various hotel departments.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance.
- Ensure the security, reliability, scalability, and availability of the backend system.
- Conduct testing and ensure features function according to requirements.
- Create API, database, and technical documentation.
- Monitor and maintain the live system.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficient in Go (Golang) for backend service development.
- Understand the concepts of REST APIs, authentication, authorization, and API security.
- Possess strong analytical thinking and system design skills.
- Able to perform debugging and troubleshooting.
- Understand database concepts and be able to write optimized queries.
- Understanding of backend architecture and security is a plus.
- Able to work well with others and communicate effectively.
