Food Regulatory Compliance Specialist / Product Registration Sp

Job Description:

You will be responsible for ensuring that all food raw materials (flavors, coffee, coconut milk, etc.) imported, stored and sold by the company fully comply with the regulations of BPOM of the Republic of Indonesia and other relevant government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Registration: lead the entire process of BPOM registration for our company's products (e.g., application for MD/LK numbers), including document preparation, submission, follow-up until the approval is obtained;
• Product Licensing: manage the maintenance, update, renewal and change of existing product registration certificates;
• Regulatory Monitoring & Analysis: track, interpret and analyze in real time the latest food regulations, standards and technical requirements issued by Indonesia's BPOM, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Industry and other authorities; provide the management team with timely and accurate impact analysis of regulatory changes and corresponding response recommendations;
• Compliance Review & Support: review the compliance of product labels, promotional materials, technical data sheets (TDS) and safety data sheets (SDS); provide regulatory consultation and support to the team to ensure all business activities comply with relevant regulations；
• External Communication: serve as the main contact person for the company with BPOM, relevant industry associations and third-party testing/certification institutions; accompany with and participate in inspections or inquiries by government agencies
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Food Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology or related fields; 2-3 years of experience in regulatory affairs/compliance in Indonesia's food, beverage or food ingredient industry;
• Fluent in Chinese, English and Indonesian; able to conduct business communication, document writing and cross-cultural team collaboration without language barriers
• Practical experience in successfully completing BPOM product registration in Indonesia;
• Proficiency with Indonesia's food regulatory system, especially the regulation on food ingredients, additives, labeling, claims and import requirements;
