Floor Supervisor
We are looking for a mature, reliable, and proactive Floor Supervisor to help lead our front-of-house operations.
This role will work closely with the current Floor Manager / Head Barista. The main focus will be supervising daily floor operations, maintaining high service standards, supporting the team, and ensuring guests have a positive experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise daily floor operations during assigned shifts.
- Support the front-of-house team to maintain high service standards.
- Monitor guest experience and ensure guests receive friendly and professional service.
- Handle guest questions, requests, and complaints in a calm and professional manner.
- Support and guide junior staff during daily operations.
- Help train team members on service standards and daily procedures.
- Coordinate with the barista and kitchen teams when needed.
- Assist with resolving minor operational issues and report important issues clearly to management.
- Ensure opening, closing, and daily operational checklists are properly followed.
- Monitor cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the floor area.
- Communicate important operational updates and issues clearly to management.
- Help maintain a positive, professional, and supportive working environment within the team.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, café, or hotel operations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a guest-facing role.
- Previous experience as a supervisor, senior staff, captain, shift leader, or trainer is preferred.
- Good communication skills with guests and team members.
- Able to handle guest complaints calmly and professionally.
- Confident when speaking with customers and providing recommendations.
- Very good English communication skills.
- Organized and able to follow checklists and SOPs.
- Able to coordinate effectively with kitchen, barista team, and management.
- Honest, responsible, punctual, and proactive.
- Able to work independently and take initiative when needed.
- Available to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
