About The Client:
Micrology Coffee Roasters is an independent specialty coffee roaster from Perth, Australia, dedicated to showcasing the life, character, and unique flavour profiles of the world’s best coffees. Built on a passion for quality and craftsmanship, Micrology focuses on sourcing exceptional green beans and roasting them with precision to highlight each coffee’s individual identity. Every roast is approached with care, consistency, and respect for the farmers and origins behind every cup.
As Micrology prepares to open its Bali branch in Canggu, we are looking for passionate hospitality professionals who are excited to be part of a growing specialty coffee brand and contribute to building an exceptional café experience from the very beginning.
What You Will Contribute:
As a Floor Staff member, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable café experience for every guest. You will support daily operations by managing service flow, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting both bar and kitchen teams when needed.
This role requires strong teamwork, efficiency, and a genuine passion for hospitality to create a welcoming and memorable environment for all customers.
What You Will Do:
- Provide warm, friendly, and professional service to all customers
- Take orders accurately and efficiently for dine-in and takeaway
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas
- Ensure tables are properly set and cleared quickly
- Assist customers with menu recommendations and product knowledge
- Handle customer inquiries and ensure positive guest experiences
- Support barista and kitchen team during busy service periods
- Assist in opening and closing operational procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations, equipment, and utensils
- Monitor stock levels of service items (napkins, condiments, etc.)
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Who We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in service roles (waiter/waitress/floor staff) in cafés or restaurants
- Basic to intermediate English communication skills
- Friendly, energetic, and service-oriented personality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced café environment
- Well-groomed, disciplined, and responsible
- Good attention to detail and customer service mindset
- Able to work both independently and within a team
- Passionate about hospitality and café culture
