Key Responsibilities:
- Application Testing & Development: conduct application testing for flavors in target product categories (e.g., beverages, dairy, savory sauces) and develop robust application formulas;
- Client Support: coordinate with the marketing team to address client needs, provide targeted technical support for flavor application, sample preparation, and solutions for clients, and assist in completing project development;
- Product Innovation & Improvement: participate in or lead the ideation and development of new products based on market insights, or optimize and upgrade the flavor and production process of existing products;
- Technical Training & Documentation: develop comprehensive product application guides, technical data sheets, and training materials; conduct training for internal sales teams and external clients;
- Trend Tracking: monitor and analyze popular market products and industry trends to provide actionable insights for R&D strategy.
Requirements:
- Mandarin is a must
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Applied Chemistry, Flavor & Fragrance Technology, or other related fields; minimum 1 year’ experience in food R&D or flavor application development, with practical knowledge of production processes and formulations for relevant categories (e.g., beverages, dairy, sauces);
- Familiar with the food R&D process, food processing technologies, and related equipment;
- Working knowledge of relevant food regulations and quality management systems;
- Excellent sensory evaluation skills, with the ability to accurately assess product flavor profiles and application performance;
- Strong sense of innovation and cost awareness, excellent communication skills, good team spirit, and the ability to work under certain work pres management skills, and communication and coordination abilities, as well as a keen insight into market trends.
