Summary of Position
The Financial Analyst Manager is responsible for analyzing the company’s financial performance, preparing strategic financial reports, and providing data-driven recommendations to support executive decision-making.
Duties, Functions and Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare parent company financial statements and prepare consolidated financial statements
- Prepare quarterly consolidated financial report, based on agreed format
- Prepare tax report for parent company
- Reconciliation of Intercompany Transactions
- Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to assess company performance.
- Identify trends, variances, and key financial indicators that impact business performance.
- Create dashboards and financial summaries for management reporting with Accurate System.
- Prepare parent company reports required by the government
Forecasting & Budgeting
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts in collaboration with school controllers
- Track actuals versus budget and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.
- Update forecast models to reflect changing business conditions.
Financial Modeling
- Develop and maintain financial models to support investment decisions, pricing strategies, and business scenarios.
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate the potential impact of business decisions.
Strategic Planning Support
- Assist in the development of long-term business strategies through financial insight and risk assessment.
- Participate in strategic discussions, offering data-driven perspectives on growth opportunities and cost optimization.
- Prepare and present reports, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Support ad hoc financial inquiries from executives and stakeholders with clear, concise analysis.
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Ensure all financial practices adhere to corporate policies and external regulatory standards.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through proper controls and documentation.
- Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, with at least 1 year in business development role
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Proficient in financial tools (e.g., Excel, Power Point, Accurate, or similar ERP systems).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good business acumen with the ability to link data to strategy.
Strong communication skills for presenting financial insights.
Leadership experience and ability to collaborate across teams.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective time management and ability to work under pressure.
Adaptable and eager to learn new tools or trends in finance.
