Soengkar & Partners Law Firm is seeking an experienced Finance professional to join our growing team in our South Jakarta office. As a Finance professional, you will play a critical role in managing the firm's financial operations, maintaining structured office records, and ensuring the overall financial health of the organization. This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional development and growth within the firm.
*What You'll Be Doing*
1. Document Archiving & Records Management: Manage, organize, and classify all company operational documents—including financial records (receipts, timesheets, invoices, proof of payments) and legal/firm documents (case files, contracts, powers of attorney, client records)—in a structured manner, both physically and digitally.
2. Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger, and financial statements.
3. Invoicing & Billing: Generate, issue, and send accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner based on lawyer and staff working timesheets.
4. AR Monitoring: Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure collections are made according to agreed payment terms.
5. Document Verification: Verify supporting documents (POs, timesheets, operational receipts, or contracts) before processing invoices or vendor payments.
6. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for management review.
7. Data Analysis & Budgeting: Analyze financial data to identify trends, provide recommendations, and assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax requirements (VAT / Withholding Tax), and accounting standards.
9. Team Support: Provide general operational and administrative support to the office team as needed.
*What We're Looking For*
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum 1 year of experience in a finance, accounting, or administrative role (experience in a professional services or legal environment is preferred).
3. Strong organizational skills in archiving and record management (both physical filing and digital document management).
4.Proficient in using financial software and spreadsheet applications (Microsoft Excel).
5. Strong understanding of financial management, invoicing, and basic tax regulations.
6. High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and
the ability to work accurately under pressure.
