Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
• Manage and supervise daily finance and accounting activities, including AP, AR, payment processing, cash flow, and bank reconciliation.
• Review accounting transactions, journal entries, accruals, and supporting documents.
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Support monthly and annual closing processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Monitor company expenses, budget utilization, and overall financial performance.
• Ensure proper financial documentation and internal controls.
Tax & Compliance
• Manage and review monthly and annual Indonesian tax compliance.
• Handle/review PPN, PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 4(2), PPh 25/29, and other applicable taxes. (Collaborate with HR/Payroll on PPh 21 individual income tax: calculate monthly PPh 21 withholding using TER simplified rates and perform annual recalculation in December using progressive rates; ensure Coretax system alignment between salary expense, PPh 21 withholding, and BPJS membership data to avoid automatic cross-validation alerts from DJP.)
• Ensure timely tax calculation, payment, and reporting.
• Operate the DJP Coretax system for tax invoicing and filing: Issue and validate VAT e-invoices (e-Faktur) through Coretax; organize and archive withholding tax certificates; file monthly/annual tax returns via the Coretax portal; ensure data consistency across financial, payroll, and BPJS systems.
• Perform reconciliation between accounting records and tax reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors.
• Act as the Company's PIC for tax-related matters, including communication with (Indonesian Tax Authority).
• Identify potential tax risks and provide practical recommendations to management.
Indonesia Statutory & HQ Reporting
• Ensure compliance with applicable Indonesian accounting, tax, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare financial and tax-related reports for management and overseas HQ.
• Explain financial variances, tax matters, and Indonesia-specific financial issues to HQ.
• Coordinate with HQ regarding intercompany transactions and other finance-related matters.
• Support the implementation of regional/HQ finance policies and internal controls in Indonesia.
• Act as a key Finance & Tax representative for the Indonesia entity.
🔹 Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting & Tax.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Indonesian taxation.
• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, trading, or multinational companies is highly preferred.
• Experience dealing with external auditors and/or tax consultants.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting.
• Brevet A & B certification is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of Indonesia's Finance & Tax matters.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, as the role will communicate and report with overseas HQ.
• Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus and will be highly valued for communication with China HQ.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accountability.
