Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably with supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, AP/AR, and tax.
- Hands-on experience in managing day-to-day finance operations and financial transactions.
- Able to independently execute finance and accounting tasks with minimal supervision when required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and familiar with accounting or financial systems.
- Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Able to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced working environment.
- Experience in a startup or growing company environment is a plus.
Job Descriptions:
- Oversee and execute day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including AP, AR, invoicing, payroll, cash management, and financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain forward-looking cash flow forecasts, including quarterly cash flow plans with weekly updates, key milestones, and scenario modelling to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Conduct monthly financial performance analysis, including budget vs. actual vs. forecast variance analysis, identify key drivers behind variances, and provide recommendations and action plans.
- Prepare and review financial reports covering budgets, cash flow, expenses, revenue, tax, and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor and manage budgets, cash burn, and expenses to support effective financial planning and cost control.
- Review commercial PKS and other finance-related agreements prior to signing to ensure financial terms, obligations, and risks are properly assessed.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation and maintenance of financial records and transactions.
- Independently handle finance and accounting activities with minimal supervision when required.
- Supervise and provide guidance to the finance team while remaining hands-on in daily financial operations.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve finance systems, processes, and SOPs, and propose and implement improvements as the business grows or existing processes become outdated.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external parties, and tax consultants on finance and tax matters.
- Provide financial analysis and support management in financial planning, process improvement, and ad hoc projects.
