We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead and manage the entire Finance, Accounting & Tax (FAT) function of the company spanning accounting & financial reporting, tax compliance, treasury & cash management, budgeting & cost control, through to internal control. This position reports directly to the CEO and acts as a strategic business partner in decision making, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, full compliance with applicable regulations, and a healthy company cash flow.
Responsibilities:
Accounting Operations, Closing & Financial Reporting
● Lead the monthly closing process (cut off, accrual, reclass) to ensure it runs on time according to the established closing calendar
● Review account reasonableness, including General Ledger, Fixed Asset, and Inventory/COGS reconciliations
● Prepare and take ownership of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow) along with supporting notes
● Reconcile figures across financial reports to ensure consistency and completeness of disclosures
● Review critical accounts during closing, such as accrual, prepaid, intercompany, and suspense accounts
● Prepare monthly management reports with an executive narrative for the CEO, covering key issues, root causes, and recommended actions
Tax Compliance & Risk Management
● Oversee reconciliation and timely filing of VAT (PPN), Income Tax (PPh 21, PPh 23/26, PPh Final), and Corporate Annual Tax Return
● Lead the fiscal reconciliation process (permanent/temporary differences)
● Monitor changes in tax regulations and translate their impact on business operations
● Prepare documentation for tax audits and coordinate clarification, objection, or appeal processes
● Establish and maintain internal tax controls
Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & Cash Cycle Management
● Coordinate cross functional resolution of AR disputes and negotiate payment/installment schedules
● Monitor customer credit limits and propose receivable provisions based on aging and risk, and apply a stop-shipment policy when accounts become overdue
● Approve receivable write-offs in accordance with the approval matrix and evidence of collection efforts
● Validate payment controls (maker checker, bank authorization) and vendor bank account changes with anti fraud controls
● Review and resolve vendor statement reconciliations, and validate reimbursement claims against policy and supporting evidence
Treasury, Budgeting & Cost Control
● Develop cash forecast scenarios and determine action triggers to maintain company liquidity
● Manage liquidity strategy, including minimum balance optimization and foreign exchange risk control
● Establish budget governance rules and prepare monthly/quarterly rolling forecasts
● Review the reasonableness of cost drivers (e.g., headcount, production volume, campaigns) as input for budget and forecast accuracy
● Identify cost saving opportunities and implement spending policies
Revenue, Margin, COGS & CAPEX Analysis
● Calculate and analyze gross margin by product/channel/customer along with key drivers
● Provide pricing and discount guardrail recommendations based on margin analysis and competitor benchmarking
● Monitor inventory value and movement (including slow-moving/obsolete stock) and coordinate stock-take (stock opname) and variance analysis
● Analyze COGS breakdown and evaluate standard costing vs actual
● Review CAPEX proposals and calculate business cases
● Conduct post-implementation CAPEX audits to evaluate realized benefits against the original plan
Internal Control, Compliance & System Governance
● Design and upgrade SOPs and accounting policies to align with business needs and regulations
● Prepare audit documentation and follow up on audit findings with control/SOP improvements and measurable action plans
● Build red-flag controls for fraud prevention
● Govern master data (Chart of Accounts, cost centers, project codes) to keep it consistent and accurate
● Lead UAT for system changes, approval workflow improvements, and financial reporting automation initiatives
Stakeholder Management & Team Leadership
● Present financial analysis to management and negotiate payment/budget priorities
● Report financial performance, risks, and strategic recommendations to the CEO on a regular basis
● Build cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Procurement, GA, and Operations to support effective financial solutions
● Lead, coach, and develop the capabilities of the FAT team (Accounting, Tax, Treasury, AR/AP, FP&A)
● Build and maintain working relationships with banks, tax consultants, external auditors, and the Indonesian Tax Office (DJP)
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
● Minimum 4–8 years of experience in Finance, Accounting & Tax, including at least 3 years in a managerial/leadership role
● Strong, up to date understanding of Indonesian tax regulations (VAT, Income Tax articles Final, Corporate Annual Tax Return) and accounting standards (PSAK)
● Proven experience managing full cycle accounting and monthly closing, including preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow)
● Experience in treasury & cash management, budgeting, and cost control
● Strong financial analysis skills (margin, COGS, CAPEX/NPV/IRR) to support business decision making
● Experienced in designing and enforcing SOP and internal controls, including fraud prevention
● Solid leadership skills to lead and develop a cross functional FAT team (Accounting, Tax, Treasury, AR/AP)
● Strong communication and presentation skills to convey financial insights to the CEO and non-finance stakeholders
● Able to work independently with a high level of accuracy and accountability, as this role reports directly to the CEO with no Head layer above it
