Finance & Accounting Staff – Freight Forwarding

We are an international freight forwarding company providing export, import, customs clearance, and logistics services. We are looking for a Finance & Accounting professional who will be responsible for managing financial activities, processing payments, maintaining accurate financial records, handling tax administration, and supporting the company's financial operations.

Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan:

a. Preparing and processing monthly/weekly invoices, employee reimbursements, operational costs, and other daily payments.

b. Handling the end-to-end payment process, including data entry, preparation of payment vouchers, verification through banking systems, and ensuring successful fund transfers.

c. Monitoring daily bank mutations, preparing monthly bank statements, and performing bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.

d. Managing employee cash advances, including monitoring expenses, collecting receipts and supporting documents, and ensuring proper accountability for funds used.

e. Preparing journal vouchers, recording financial transactions, and processing vendor invoice payments according to agreed payment terms.

f. Managing petty cash and payment vouchers, including expense classification, data entry, document preparation, and filing.

g. Monitoring customer payments, following up on outstanding receivables, and ensuring timely collection of overdue invoices.

h. Preparing customer invoices, arranging virtual account numbers, and ensuring accurate billing information.

i. Recording and monitoring incoming customer payments and matching them with outstanding invoices.

j. Handling tax administration and reporting through the Coretax system, including VAT (PPN), Withholding Tax (PPh Article 23), Employee Income Tax (PPh Article 21), and Import Income Tax (PPh Article 22), as applicable.

k. Coordinating with the Operations, Sales, and other internal teams, as well as overseas agents, vendors, and banks, regarding invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.

l. Monitoring freight charges, local charges, demurrage, detention, and other operational expenses related to freight forwarding activities.

m. Assisting in monthly financial closing, maintaining proper financial documentation, and ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and on time.

Keahlian:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, PivotTables, and advanced formulas.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and basic financial reporting.
• Familiar with Indonesian tax regulations, particularly PPN and PPh Articles 21, 22, and 23.
• Familiar with the Coretax system and tax administration procedures.
• Good understanding of freight forwarding operations, including Incoterms (FOB, CIF, and EXW), Bill of Lading (B/L), Air Waybill (AWB), freight charges, and local charges.
• Good written English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Kualifikasi:

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, Taxation, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of working experience in Finance or Accounting, preferably in a freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping line company.
• Fresh graduates with a strong understanding of accounting principles and logistics operations are welcome to apply.
• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment processing, and bank reconciliation is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Indonesian tax administration and the Coretax system is preferred.
• Willing to be placed in West Jakarta.

Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 WIB.
