Job description for Finance Executive at Yellow Ribbon Industries Pte. Ltd
- Ensure all documents are in order before payment i.e. quotations, purchase orders, good receipt notes delivery orders and invoices
- Prepare cheques and Giro payment to suppliers
- Liaise with suppliers regarding payment related issue
- Perform monthly reconciliation against suppliers’ statement of accounts
- Monthly reconciliation of inter-company transactions
- Monthly status review of open GRN for accruals
- Liaise with operation team regarding completeness of documents and payment related issue
- In-charge of receivables-related transactions, including: liaise with operations team regarding delivery order
- Prepare invoices
- Upload to customers’ accounts payable portals with our invoices and supporting documents
- Perform monthly reconciliation of debtors’ statement of accounts
- Contributes to report’s generation e.g. Sales report, AR Aging, Debt chasing
- Perform monthly reconciliation of inter-company transactions
- Manage and update on other incoming receipts
- Perform posting of GL entries including month-end closing and financial year-end closing
- Prepare journal entries and accrual, provision, schedules and other adjustments
- Maintain Fixed Assets register including asset disposal/transfer from/to related company
- Perform bank reconciliation
- Assist in GST, Tax, and Financial Reporting
- Review reconciliation of GL schedules
- Monthly run of depreciation from the accounting system
- Monthly run of depreciation from system
- Quarterly condemnation of fixed assets
- Manage assets disposals, transfers, condemnation, assets tagging
- Maintain system and manual fixed asset register, projections, schedules (including amortization), and accruals
- Reconciliation & reporting for statutory requirements (e.g. audit & tax)
- Assist in Fixed Assets Sighting exercise
- Processing and verifying transport, petty cash, and entertainment for staff
- Performs data entry into the accounting system
- Work and liaise with internal and external auditors on audit matters (documents, reports & queries)
- Any other ad-hoc duties delegated by the Finance Manager
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting or related studies
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Finance Executive
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel will be advantageous
- Meticulous, eye for details, and a good team player
- Good interpersonal skills
- Preferably able to commence immediately or within short notice
- 5 days’ work week
