Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic business planning and decision-making
- Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting to optimise liquidity
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy
- Prepare management reports and financial dashboards to track key performance indicators
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis for operational departments
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognised institution
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting and financial reporting roles, preferably within a shipping, logistics, or trading company
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax law, financial reporting standards (PSAK/IFRS), and regulatory compliance requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems; experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems is highly desirable
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications for financial analysis and reporting
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Indonesian is essential
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Demonstrated leadership capability with experience in supervising and developing team members
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience in maritime, shipping, or international trade sectors would be a significant advantage
