GENERAL FUNCTION:
Under the supervision of the Finance & Accounting Manager, the Finance & Accounting Staff is responsible for handling daily finance, treasury, and accounting operations, including payment processing, cash flow monitoring, accounts receivable and payable, and financial reporting in accordance with company policies and procedures.
The role is expected to perform assigned tasks accurately and independently while ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Finance & Treasury
- Receive and verify the completeness and accuracy of payable documents from external vendors and internal parties (e.g., medical, cash advance, expense claims).
- Review and validate employee travel expense reports, ensuring proper documentation and accuracy, and coordinate with related parties for any discrepancies.
- Prepare weekly and/or urgent payment lists, process payment transactions through internet banking or bank counters, and submit for approval to the authorized approver and releaser.
- Coordinate with banks to obtain competitive foreign exchange rates for forex transactions.
- Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly cash flow reports (actual and forecast) in accordance with the company template.
- Retrieve bank statements from e-banking platforms, prepare bank mutation reports, and distribute them to relevant team members for accounting posting.
- Handle banking administration matters, including communication with bank representatives, account opening/closure, company data updates, and corporate credit card management.
- Maintain proper filing and archiving of bank-related documents.
2. Accounting
- Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R), including invoice recording, payment posting, reconciliation, and monitoring of receivable balances.
- Manage Accounts Payable (A/P), including verification of invoices, cost coding, tax validation, system input, payment posting, and reconciliation of payable balances.
- Record and maintain bank and cash transactions, including bank entries, credit card transactions, and petty cash records in the accounting system.
- Prepare and input general journal entries and perform account reconciliations in the General Ledger.
- Perform monthly closing activities, including reconciliation of bank, cash, A/R, A/P, and general ledger balances.
- Maintain fixed asset records, including acquisition, depreciation, and reconciliation with the general ledger.
- Prepare aging reports for receivables and payables and ensure reconciliation with the general ledger.
- Record adjusting and non-recurring journal entries required for month-end closing.
3. SMS Billing & Finance Support
- Act as PIC for SMS prepaid clients and provide support and assistance as required.
- Prepare daily usage reports (API, SMS Regular, OTP) and monthly data for reconciliation purposes.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Finance Department, including document checking, preparation of official letters, and maintaining logbooks.
4. Audit Compliance & Reporting
- Provide data, documentation, and full support during financial audits by external auditors.
- Support tax-related processes, including clarification requests (SP2DK) and tax audits (SP2).
- Ensure all financial transactions and documentation comply with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
5. Perform any other job related duties as assigned by the Manager or authorized personnel.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance & Accounting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P)
- Familiarity with banking transactions and cash flow management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Experience in supporting audit and tax processes (document support)
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience using accounting software (e.g., Accurate, SAP, or similar)
- Understanding of Indonesian tax regulations is an advantage
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
