💼 Job Summary
Finance & Accounting (F&A) Officer is responsible for managing and supporting the school’s day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including bookkeeping, accounts receivable, school fee monitoring, bank reconciliation, transaction recording, and financial documentation using Tally accounting software. The role also supports bookstore and procurement activities, including inventory and transaction management, vendor coordination, invoice and payment processing, and expense settlement. Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete financial records, monitoring supporting documents, and coordinating with management, staff, parents, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient, accurate, and well-organized financial and administrative operations.
🎯 Responsibilities
1. Financial Administration & Bookkeeping: Manage and maintain daily financial transactions, bookkeeping records, bank reconciliations, and supporting financial documentation to ensure accuracy and proper recordkeeping.
2. Accounts Receivable & Parent Accounts: Monitor school fee and Accounts Receivable records while coordinating with parents regarding payments, invoices, account-related queries, and payment discrepancies.
3. School Bookstore & Book Management
Manage the end-to-end school bookstore operations, including book ordering, sales, inventory, parent coordination, transaction recording, and periodic stock reviews.
4. Procurement & Vendor Coordination
Coordinate the procurement of school and operational requirements, including documentation, approvals, vendor communication, quotations, orders, deliveries, and purchasing comparisons.
5. Document Control & Expense Settlement
Review and maintain financial and administrative supporting documents, process expense settlements, and ensure all records are complete, accurate, and properly organized.
6. General School Administration & Coordination
Provide administrative and operational support while coordinating with management, staff, parents, vendors, and other relevant parties across financial and administrative matters.
🔎 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance & accounting roles in general.
- Good understanding of bookkeeping , Accounts Receivable , bank reconciliation , and financial documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, experience with Tally accounting software is preferred.
- Experience in procurement, inventory management, and vendor coordination is an advantage.
- Fluent in english will be prioritized.
- Detail-oriented , organized, and accurate, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to manage multiple responsibilities, work independently and collaboratively, and maintain confidentiality.
- Willing to work full-time from office (WFO) in Semarang.
