Finance and Accounting Manager

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Finance & Accounting Manager to lead and manage the company's Finance & Accounting functions. This position will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations while providing financial analysis and insights to support Management's decision-making.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in financial reporting, accounting, cash flow management, budgeting, taxation, audit, and internal control, preferably within the aviation, logistics, hospitality, or service industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the Finance & Accounting Department and oversee daily financial operations.
2. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
3. Ensure accurate and timely accounting records in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
4. Manage the company's cash flow, cash management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
5. Develop and monitor the company's annual budget, financial planning, and forecasting.
6. Monitor budget realization and provide analysis and recommendations for any significant variances.
7. Oversee monthly and annual financial closing processes.
8. Ensure proper bank reconciliation and reconciliation of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other balance sheet accounts.
9. Oversee the company's tax compliance and ensure timely fulfillment of all tax obligations.
10. Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and other relevant parties.
11. Prepare and provide the necessary financial data and documentation for internal and external audits.
12. Develop, implement, and monitor effective internal and financial controls.
13. Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to Management/Directors.
14. Identify financial risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
15. Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented, reviewed, and approved in accordance with company policies.
16. Improve Finance & Accounting systems, processes, and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
17. Lead, develop, and evaluate the performance of the Finance & Accounting team.
18. Collaborate with other departments regarding financial planning, budgeting, and operational requirements.
19. Ensure all Finance & Accounting activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
20. Perform other finance and accounting-related duties as assigned by Management/Directors.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
3. Proven experience in leading and managing a Finance & Accounting team.
4. Strong knowledge of Accounting, Financial Reporting, Cash Flow Management, Budgeting & Forecasting.
5. Good understanding of Indonesian taxation and applicable financial regulations.
6. Strong experience in month-end and year-end closing.
7. Experience handling internal and external audits.
8. Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
9. Good understanding of internal control, financial control, and risk management.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
11. Experience with Accounting Software or ERP Systems is highly preferred.
12. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
13. High level of integrity, accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
14. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
15. Fluent in English, both written and spoken, is preferred.
16. Experience in aviation, logistics, hospitality, transportation, or service industries is highly preferred.

Nice to Have

1. Experience in aviation, logistics, mining, oil & gas, maritime, or other mission/field-heavy operations

2. Experience with multi-currency payments and international vendors

3. Familiarity with budgeting by project/mission and cost tracking by asset (aircraft)
