Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations & Oversight
- Oversee daily finance and accounting operations
- Manage cash flow planning and visibility
- Supervise payment approvals and banking activities
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely reconciliations and financial accuracy
- Coordinate monthly closing processes
Reporting & Financial Management
- Prepare and oversee monthly financial reporting
- Develop KPI and management reporting structures
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Conduct margin analysis and cost control monitoring
- Improve financial visibility and reporting accuracy across the organization
Accounting & Compliance
- Coordinate with external accounting office in Belgium
- Ensure compliance with financial procedures and controls
- Support tax, VAT, payroll, and audit-related processes
- Oversee financial documentation and reporting standards
Process Improvement & Internal Controls
- Reduce dependency on single-person knowledge within the department
- Enforce and improve SOPs, workflows, and finance processes
- Improve structure, organization, and internal controls
- Optimize finance-related operational workflows between Bali and Belgium
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and support the finance and accounting team
- Monitor team performance and task execution
- Ensure smooth communication between departments
- Foster accountability, structure, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting
- Previous leadership or team management experience
- Experience in international companies
- Strong experience in wholesale/distribution environments
- Experience with multi-company structures is a strong plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive and hands-on mentality
