Role Description
The Finance & Accounting Manager (Multi-Entity) is a full-time, on-site role based in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role oversees end-to-end finance and accounting operations across multiple legal entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with local regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing monthly closing activities, maintaining general ledgers, and coordinating audits. The role also involves improving internal controls, optimizing financial processes, and collaborating with leadership to support the academy’s growth and multi-entity structure.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years in accounting, including hands-on experience producing full financial statements — not only journal entry, AP, or AR
- Experience handling more than one legal entity (group, multi-company, or a public accounting firm with several clients)
- Strong PSAK / Indonesian GAAP knowledge
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets — pivot tables, lookups, structured models
- Experience with accounting software: Accurate, Jurnal/Mekari, Zahir, Xero, or similar
- Genuinely analytical — able to look at a P&L, explain why it moved, and say what to do about it
- Comfortable in an environment where processes do not exist yet and you are expected to build them
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Not suitable for fresh graduates
Job Description
Accounting & Reporting
- Produce complete monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for each of the four entities — closed by the 10th of the following month
- Own the full cycle: AR/AP, payroll, bank reconciliation, fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments
- Handle inter-company and related-party transactions, and prepare consolidated group reporting
- Maintain the chart of accounts and enforce consistent cost recognition across all entities
- Coordinate with external tax consultants and auditors
- Build and document SOPs so the process survives you being on leave
Analysis & Decision Support
- Break financial data down by entity, venue, product, and cost driver — not just report the totals
- Track unit economics: margin per venue, per program, per coach, and per customer
- Build and maintain the KPI dashboard the leadership team runs on
- Deliver a monthly management pack with variance commentary and a clear point of view on what the numbers mean
- Model scenarios for pricing, new venues, and contract decisions — and give the CEO a recommendation, not just a spreadsheet
Strong Plus
- Indonesian tax competency: PPh 21/23/4(2), PPN, SPT Masa & Tahunan, e-Faktur, Coretax
- Ability to prepare and submit tax filings in-house
- Brevet A/B certification
- Public accounting / KAP background
- Experience in hospitality, sports, F&B, or multi-location service businesses
