Our client is a well-established company in the entertainment and leisure industry that is currently developing and operating one of Bali's premier theme park destinations. They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance & Accounting Assistant Manager to support financial operations and contribute to sustainable business growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the overall Finance & Accounting functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor daily financial transactions, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes while monitoring budget realization and variance analysis.
- Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure effective cost control across all operational departments.
- Manage cash flow planning and monitor the company's liquidity position.
- Coordinate monthly closing activities and ensure financial reports are completed on schedule.
- Ensure compliance with taxation regulations and support tax reporting activities.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit processes.
- Develop, review, and improve finance and accounting procedures to strengthen internal controls.
- Collaborate with operational departments to provide financial insights that support business decision-making.
- Supervise and develop Finance & Accounting team members to achieve departmental objectives.
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or Assistant Manager role.
- Experience in the hospitality, theme park, retail, tourism, leisure, or entertainment industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, taxation, and financial analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP Accounting Systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Accurate, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.
- Willing to be based in Bali.
