About the role
Northplay Padel & Academy is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Finance, Accounting, Tax professional to join our growing organisation. This is a full-time position based in Tangerang Selatan, Banten, offering a unique opportunity to manage the financial operations of a dynamic sports and leisure company. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with tax regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth. You will be responsible for overseeing the accounting functions that directly impact the company's financial health and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
- Handle tax compliance, planning and reporting obligations, including corporate tax returns and statutory filings
- Monitor and record financial transactions with accuracy and attention to detail
- Maintain comprehensive financial records and supporting documentation for audit purposes
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost optimisation
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information for decision-making
- Prepare periodic financial reports and reconciliations for management review
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards
- Support the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or related field
- Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting, ideally within a service or hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial documentation
- Professional communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Understanding of internal controls and risk management principles
- Experience with month-end and year-end close procedures
