Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, working with department heads to allocate resources effectively
Monitor actual expenses against budgets and provide variance analysis
Provide recommendations for cost control, improving financial performance, and maximizing profitability
Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management for strategic decision-making
Prepare ad-hoc financial reports as needed for management and board meetings
Participate in or lead special financial projects or initiatives as required, such as mergers, acquisitions, or new business strategies
