OCX is looking for a Finance & Accounting Executive to take ownership of our finance function from the ground up. As the company grows and expands across multiple countries, this role has real potential to grow into leading a team.
Expertise in accounting is required, with working competency in finance and tax.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Full-cycle accounting: AR, AP, GL, and monthly close
- Reconciliation: operating accounts and custodial wallet, plus seller payouts and refunds, across multiple currencies
- Indonesia tax compliance: Tax filing and reporting via Coretax
- Monthly reporting: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Project P&L on an ad-hoc basis
- Finance operations: budget tracking, vendor payments, invoicing, and expense management across teams
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Have:
- 3 to 5 years hands-on accounting experience, able to run month-end close with minimal oversight
- Indonesia tax experience (VAT, PPh21, PPh23)
- Multi-currency accounting experience (IDR/SGD or similar)
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- Detail-obsessed, with a can-do attitude and comfort taking ownership in a fast-paced startup
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in leading a small team (< 5 people)
- Background in an audit or public accounting firm
- Experience across multiple finance functions (accounting, finance, tax) over your career
- Experience in a high-growth or early-stage startup
- Experience setting up processes or systems from scratch, rather than inheriting and following an existing one
- Marketplace, fintech, or e-commerce knowledge (escrow, custodial funds, payment gateway reconciliation)
- Regional accounting knowledge (e.g. Singapore/IRAS)

- You need close supervision on day-to-day tasks
- You've only done bookkeeping, not full-cycle close
