Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, business administration, or management. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, brevet) is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, and tax management
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial/accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience in the retail or e-commerce industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Job Description

• Oversee and manage the company’s financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure effective financial management and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate and manage annual audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and ensure effective liquidity management.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to management to support decision-making and business growth.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations, and ensure the company’s compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning, analysis, and business performance monitoring.
