Job Description
- Assist the team in preparing and executing events and on-ground activities, with a focus on event operations.
- Conduct field surveys by visiting event venues and potential locations directly.
- Assist with venue checking, including accessibility, facilities, layout, loading access, parking, and other event requirements.
- Assist in sourcing and communicating with vendors, suppliers, and venue teams based on project needs.
- Follow up on vendor availability, quotations, and operational requirements as assigned.
- Support event setup, preparation, event-day operations, and breakdown as needed.
- Monitor assigned operational tasks on-site and report updates or issues to the team.
- Document field surveys and event activities through photos, videos, and simple reports.
- Assist in preparing simple event materials, presentations, or decks when required.
- Support other operational and administrative tasks related to events and field activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 year of experience in event management, event operations, EO, MICE, activation, or related fields.
- Experience in event operations and on-ground activities is preferred.
- Comfortable with frequent field visits, venue surveys, and traveling to various locations.
- Physically mobile and comfortable with event setup, operational tasks, and event-day activities.
- Good communication and coordination skills, especially when dealing with vendors and venue teams.
- Proactive, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to complete assigned tasks independently.
- Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic skills in PowerPoint and/or Canva are a plus.
- Willing to work on-site at different event or field locations as required.
- Willing to work outside regular working hours, including weekends, when required by event schedules.
