Assistant Fashion Designer (Production & Development)

We are looking for an Assistant Fashion Designer who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about fashion production.
This role focuses more on product development and production coordination rather than creative design. You will work closely with the designer to ensure every collection is developed accurately, produced on schedule, and delivered according to quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the Fashion Designer in product development and production processes
* Interpret design concepts and communicate them to production teams
* Prepare and organize production information, measurements, and specifications
* Take body measurements and garment measurements accurately
* Coordinate fittings and record revisions
* Monitor production timelines and ensure deadlines are met
* Follow up with tailors and vendors regarding production progress
* Conduct quality control (QC) on every products
* Ensure garments meet measurement, construction, and finishing standards
* Maintain accurate production records and reports
* Coordinate appointments and production schedules when required
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design or related field
* Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern making, fitting, and production workflow
* Able to take accurate measurements and understand fitting adjustments
* Highly detail-oriented and organized
* Strong time management and follow-up skills
* Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
* Proactive, responsible, and solution-oriented
* Good communication skills and ability to work with internal and external production teams
* Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in a fashion brand, atelier, garment production, or fashion manufacturing environment
* Experience handling production coordination and quality control
* Familiarity with luxury, bridal, or evening wear production is a plus
