About the Role
We are looking for a creative, passionate, and enthusiastic Fashion Design Teacher to teach children and introduce them to the fun world of fashion and design.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with kids and can create engaging, hands-on activities that allow children to explore their creativity while learning basic fashion and design concepts.
Responsibilities
* Plan and conduct fun, interactive, and age-appropriate fashion design classes for children.
* Introduce children to basic fashion concepts such as colors, fabrics, patterns, textures, and simple garment design.
* Create hands-on activities and creative projects related to fashion and styling.
* Guide children in creating simple fashion-related projects, such as mood boards, fashion illustrations, accessories, and simple wearable crafts.
* Adapt teaching methods and activities according to the children’s age and abilities.
* Encourage children’s creativity, confidence, self-expression, and independence.
* Prepare teaching materials and class activities before each session.
* Maintain a fun, positive, and safe learning environment.
* Communicate with the team regarding class development, activities, and children’s progress.
* Develop new and creative lesson ideas based on children’s interests and current trends.
Requirements
* Background in Fashion Design, Fashion Styling, Textile Design, or a related field.
* Previous experience working with children or teaching is preferred.
* Passionate about fashion, creativity, and education.
* Creative and able to develop fun, hands-on activities for children.
* Patient, friendly, energetic, and comfortable interacting with young children.
* Good communication and classroom management skills.
* Able to work independently and collaborate with a team.
* Portfolio of fashion/design work is a plus.
