Position Title: Host
Department: Guest Experience / Farm Hospitality
Location: Bali Eco Farm – Tetirah Group (Ubud, Bali)
Reports To: Farm Manager / Operations Manager
Job Purpose:
To warmly welcome and guide guests through the Bali Eco Farm experience, ensuring they feel connected, comfortable, and engaged. The host is responsible for storytelling, tour coordination, and providing memorable service aligned with eco-tourism values.
Requirements:
Friendly, energetic, and service-minded personality
Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and conversational English (other languages are a plus)
Passion for nature, farming, local culture, and sustainability
Experience in hospitality, guiding, or customer service is preferred
Comfortable working outdoors and interacting with diverse guests (local & international)
Ability to manage groups, explain farm activities, and promote products or experiences
Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours
High attention to cleanliness, appearance, and positive attitude
Basic knowledge of organic farming, herbal plants, or traditional Balinese culture is an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome all guests with warmth and professionalism
Explain the concept of Bali Eco Farm and guide guests through the farm tour
Share stories about local plants, herbs, traditional practices, and sustainability efforts
Coordinate experiences such as harvesting, herbal tea making, or planting
Assist in organizing farm-to-table meals and ensure guest comfort during dining
Support small workshop sessions or educational programs (when scheduled)
Promote other Tetirah Group experiences or products when appropriate
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns with care and clarity
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of all guest-facing areas (reception, toilets, pathways, etc.)
Collaborate with farm staff, kitchen team, and other departments to ensure seamless service
