JOB SUMMARY:
PT Shunda Flavor Indonesia is seeking an experienced and professional Factory Manager who is fluent in Mandarin and has a strong background in the Food & Beverage industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing factory operations, production management, quality control, manpower coordination, and ensuring operational efficiency in accordance with company standards and food safety regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage and oversee daily factory operations to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
• Develop and implement production plans, operational strategies, and process improvements.
• Monitor production targets, productivity, and operational performance.
• Ensure product quality standards comply with company requirements and food safety regulations.
• Coordinate closely with Mandarin-speaking management, suppliers, and production teams.
• Supervise production staff, supervisors, and department leaders within the factory.
• Control production costs, raw material usage, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure workplace safety, hygiene, and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Handle production troubleshooting, machine downtime, and operational issues effectively.
• Prepare operational reports, production analysis, and factory performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with QA/QC, warehouse, purchasing, and other related departments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and manufacturing optimization programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, Manufacturing, Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Factory/Production Management within the Food & Beverage industry.
• Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes and factory operations.
• Familiar with GMP, HACCP, food safety standards, and production quality control systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure and manage large production teams effectively.
• Strong analytical and operational management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience working in Chinese or multinational manufacturing companies.
• Experience handling factory expansion and production optimization projects.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and supply chain coordination.
