F&B Supervisor (Boutique Hotel Pre-Opening)

Job Summary

We are a new boutique retreat opening in Balian, Bali — a quiet stretch of coast far from the busier side of the island. Built for movement, community and slow living, we host retreat groups, educators and practitioners who come here to practice, gather and reconnect with nature. Much of that happens around the table: long dinners, easy conversations, good drinks at the end of the day. As FNB Supervisor, you will lead our Restaurant and Bar team and shape how those moments feel. This is a founding-team role, joining us before we open — you will help shape how things are done from the very beginning. Full details about the property are shared with shortlisted candidates.

Job Description

• Oversee all Restaurant and Bar service operations, ensuring the guest experience aligns with the resort's brand standards

• Supervise the F&B Service Associate team (multitask waiter / bartender / runner staff)

• Manage shift scheduling for the F&B team

• Control stock and beverage costs

• Resolve guest feedback related to F&B service

• Coordinate with the kitchen team on service timing, events and special guest requests

• Report F&B performance and staffing metrics to the Operations Manager

Reports to: Operations Manager

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as F&B Supervisor, Restaurant Supervisor or Bar Supervisor at a boutique hotel, resort or restaurant

• Working knowledge of restaurant and bar service standards, including basic beverage / cocktail knowledge

• Ability to monitor costs and revenue performance

• Ability to lead and cross-train a multitask service team

• Conversational English required (given the international guest profile)

• Basic POS and stock control experience preferred
