Job Summary
The F&B Manager / Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the outlet, ensuring excellent customer service, consistent product quality, efficient team performance, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards. The role is responsible for achieving sales targets while maintaining operational efficiency and controlling costs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Outlet Operations
Oversee daily opening and closing procedures.
Ensure the outlet operates efficiently and according to company SOPs.
Monitor sales, customer traffic, and overall outlet performance.
Ensure products are prepared and served according to brand standards.
Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
2. Team Management
Supervise, train, and motivate F&B crew members.
Prepare staff schedules and manage shift allocations.
Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming, and staff performance.
Conduct daily briefings and communicate operational priorities.
Provide coaching and feedback to team members.
Assist management with staff evaluations and disciplinary matters when required.
3. Customer Service
Maintain high standards of customer service and guest experience.
Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly.
Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
Ensure the team maintains a friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude.
4. Sales & Performance
Drive the outlet toward achieving daily and monthly sales targets.
Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue.
Implement approved promotions and marketing campaigns.
Monitor average transaction value and product performance.
Prepare daily operational and sales reports.
5. Inventory & Cost Control
Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate inventory availability.
Conduct regular stock counts and assist with stock reconciliation.
Minimize product wastage, breakage, and operational losses.
Monitor food and beverage costs and maintain company targets.
Ensure proper storage and handling of products and ingredients.
6. Hygiene & Food Safety
Maintain excellent cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the outlet.
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation procedures.
Monitor personal hygiene and grooming standards of all staff.
Ensure equipment, kitchen, service areas, and storage areas are properly maintained.
Report maintenance or safety issues immediately.
7. Cash & Administration
Ensure accurate cash handling and POS procedures.
Monitor daily cash reconciliation and payment transactions.
Ensure all sales are properly recorded.
Complete daily operational reports and required documentation.
Follow company procedures for discounts, refunds, voids, and complimentary items.
Qualifications
Minimum Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, F&B Management, Business, or related field preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in F&B operations.
Previous experience as an F&B Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or similar role is preferred.
Experience managing a team in a café, restaurant, beverage, or retail F&B environment.
Good understanding of F&B operations, customer service, and inventory control.
