The Export Import Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of import and export operations, ensuring seamless processes from initial negotiation to final delivery. Key responsibilities include managing import and export documentation, coordinating with international partners, and maintaining compliance with local and international regulations. We seek candidates who are female, holding a Bachelor’s degree and possessing between five and ten years of relevant experience in import and export logistics. Strong communication skills in English and Standard Mandarin are essential, as is a thorough understanding of international trade settlement procedures. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective strategies to streamline the import and export processes, maximising efficiency and minimising costs
- Manage the coordination of all import and export activities, including documentation, transportation, and customs clearance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing import and export operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as procurement and logistics, to optimise supply chain performance
- Analyse data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and inform strategic decision-making
- Stay up-to-date with changes in trade policies, regulations, and industry trends to proactively adapt the company's import and export processes
- Lead and mentor a team of import/export specialists, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing, transportation, or logistics industry
- Thorough understanding of import and export regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements
- Proven track record of successfully managing import and export operations, including optimising processes and ensuring compliance
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and find innovative solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to use relevant software and tools
- Adaptable and proactive, with a keen interest in staying informed about industry trends and regulations
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
