JAPANESE & WESTERN CUISINE
📍 NUA KAI Japanese Restaurant – Uluwatu, Bali
💰 Salary: IDR 5,500,000/month
🕒 Working hours: Shift-based schedule, 8-hour shifts
📅 6 working days per week, 1 day off

📌 Position: Full-Time Chef
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Prepare and cook Japanese and Western dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards.
* Prepare sushi, sashimi, rolls, rice dishes, breakfast dishes and Western meals.
* Ensure consistent food quality, taste, portion sizes and presentation.
* Plan daily food preparation and organize kitchen operations.
* Prepare supplier orders and order all necessary food ingredients and kitchen supplies.
* Monitor ingredient availability and maintain sufficient stock levels.
* Conduct regular food inventory and stock checks.
* Check deliveries, ingredient quality, quantities and expiration dates.
* Minimize food waste and control food costs.
* Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards.
* Properly store and label all ingredients.
* Work efficiently during busy service hours.
* Coordinate with other restaurant staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum 2 years of professional kitchen experience.
* Experience in BOTH Japanese and Western cuisine is mandatory.
* Confident in preparing Japanese dishes, sushi and Western breakfast/lunch dishes.
* Experience with inventory management and supplier ordering.
* Good knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling.
* Able to work independently and manage kitchen preparation.
* Responsible, organized, punctual and detail-oriented.
* Basic English communication skills.
* Flexible to work different shifts, weekends and public holidays as scheduled.
