i3L University is looking for a proactive and organized Event & Media Relations Officer to plan and execute promotional activities that support student recruitment. The ideal candidate is a good communicator who enjoys working with different teams and can take initiative to ensure successful events.
Job Descriptions
- Plan and execute promotional events and campaigns to support student recruitment and increase prospective student engagement.
- Coordinate various promotional activities, including education fairs, exhibitions, open house events, and webinars.
- Coordinate with internal departments, event organizers, and vendors to ensure smooth event planning and execution.
- Prepare event proposals, budgets, promotional materials, and logistical requirements in coordination with relevant parties.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team on pre-event promotions and support prospective student engagement in coordination with the Admissions Team.
- Handle unexpected challenges during events and ensure activities run smoothly.
- Prepare event-related articles or press releases for online media and the i3L University website when needed.
- Serve as the Master of Ceremonies (MC) when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in event management, marketing, or related fields.
- Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Proactive, responsible, and able to take initiative in managing assigned events.
- Able to coordinate effectively with different departments and external parties.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to unexpected situations.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Willing to work on weekends when required.
