Qualifications:
- Minimum education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Solid understanding of construction methods and materials.
- Skilled in quantity take-off, cost estimation, and bill of quantities (BOQ) preparation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and cost estimation software/tools.
- Able to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction estimating is preferred.
Jobdesc:
- Analyze project drawings and technical documents (BOQ, TOR, specifications).
- Perform quantity take-offs based on design drawings.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets (RAB).
- Conduct unit price analysis based on labor, materials, and equipment.
- Collect and update market price data for construction resources.
- Coordinate with project teams, procurement, and drafters to validate estimate accuracy.
- Prepare cost estimation reports and tender submissions.
- Revise cost estimates when there are design or scope changes.
