About Us
ELLI Pasti Bisa is a growing language centre in Belitung — a beautiful island just a 50-minute flight from Jakarta — helping adult learners build real, usable fluency in English. We're part of ELLI, an international network of language centres with professional oversight and shared teaching standards, and we use IMMERSE VR technology alongside teacher-led programs. We're looking for a teacher who wants to grow with us as we expand, with training and support provided along the way.
The Role
You'll focus on developing spoken fluency and confidence in adult learners at a range of English levels, run the centre's English Club, and work alongside the team to help build programs that attract adult students. Over time, as the centre grows, this role will grow too — including into programs for working professionals — with training and support to help you get there.
What You'll Do
● Plan and deliver lessons focused on fluency, confidence, and real-world communication skills
● Run the centre's English Club, creating a welcoming space to practise outside the classroom
● Work with the team to help build and refine programs that attract adult students
● Use our teaching tools and technology, including IMMERSE VR, within a supported, teacher-led model
● Adapt your approach to learners' goals and schedules, and share ideas as the centre grows
Your Growth Path
This role is built to grow with you — clear phases of responsibility, opportunity, and compensation as you and the centre grow together, with training and support along the way.
Phase 1 (Months 0–6): Foundation
● Teach adult learners, run the English Club, and help build programs alongside the team
● Onboard into ELLI's teaching standards and IMMERSE VR technology, with full training provided
Phase 2 (Months 6–12): Building Together
● Continue growing the English Club and adult programs, and begin additional certifications through ELLI
● Start preparing, with support and training, for the centre's future professional-focused programs
Phase 3 (12 Months+): Expanding Together
● Take on a role in our professional-focused programs, and later teen and children's programming, as they launch
● Compensation grows in step with the centre — as enrollment and new programs grow, so does your role and pay
What We're Looking For
● Experience teaching English to adults, ideally with a focus on speaking fluency
● A genuine passion for helping people grow — in English and in confidence
● Strong interpersonal skills and openness to technology and new teaching tools
● A collaborative mindset — happy to grow into new opportunities with support along the way
● Recognised English teaching qualification (e.g. CELTA, TESOL, TEFL) or equivalent experience
Compensation & Benefits
● Salary starting at IDR 5,000,000 per month, based on experience, with increases tied to the centre's growth
● Relocation package: flight to Belitung and first month's accommodation covered
● Daily food allowance provided
● Based in Belitung, Indonesia — a beautiful island just a 50-minute flight from Jakarta
