What you'll be doing
- Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned English language lessons to secondary school students
- Implement effective teaching strategies to foster students' reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in English
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic and linguistic development
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student learning
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your teaching practice
- Contribute to the overall academic and extracurricular programmes of the school
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience teaching English at the secondary school level
- Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement engaging, student-centered lesson plans
- Proficiency in using educational technology and multimedia resources to enhance student learning
- Passion for education and a commitment to fostering the holistic development of students
