Job Description
- Deliver engaging English lessons for Senior High School (SMA) students aligned with National Curriculum and/or international standards
- Apply student-centered learning approaches that promote critical thinking, communication, and creativity
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments (including HOTS-based evaluation)
- Facilitate classroom discussions, presentations, debates, and writing activities
- Monitor and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments
- Integrate leadership values and character education into daily teaching practices that respects religious and cultural diversity
- Collaborate with fellow teachers on curriculum development and school programs
- Participate in professional development programs, training, and school activities
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in English Education, English Literature, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at Senior High School level
- Strong proficiency in English (spoken and written) and classroom management skills
- Familiar with National Curriculum (experience with Cambridge or international curriculum is a plus)
- Ability to implement interactive, creative, and student-centered teaching methods
- Comfortable using digital learning tools (Google Classroom, LMS, etc.)
- Experience coaching students for competitions (debate, speech, writing)
- Teaching certification or English proficiency certification (TOEFL / IELTS)
